Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 3, 2026 · Applies to: all users of Zounya

Zounya is operated by MASTERDO INCORPORATED ("Zounya", "we", "us", "our"), a company based in Charlotte, North Carolina, United States. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we share it, and the choices you have. Questions? Email zousupport@zounya.com.

1. Information we collect

Account & contact information — your name, email address, mobile phone number, and, for at-home service, your service address.

Booking information — the service you book, appointment date and time, the braider assigned, and related notes.

Payment information — processed securely by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers.

Usage & device information — basic technical and log data used to operate, secure, and improve the Platform.

2. How we use your information

To create and manage your account and your bookings.

To send transactional service messages — appointment confirmations, reminders, braider "on my way" and arrival updates, and balance-due or payment notices — and to provide customer support, by email and, if you opt in, by SMS text message.

To process payments, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

3. SMS / text messaging privacy

We collect your mobile number and SMS consent so we can send the appointment and support messages you opt into. See our SMS / Text Messaging Terms at zounya.com/legal/sms-terms.

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or your SMS opt-in / consent information with any third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Your SMS consent is never shared with third parties for marketing.

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from all information sharing; this information will not be shared with any third parties. SMS data is shared only with our texting service provider as needed to deliver the messages you request.

You can opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP to any message.

4. How we share information

We share information only as needed to provide the service:

With your braider — the information required to fulfill your appointment (such as your name, the service booked, and, for at-home service, your address).

With service providers who process data on our behalf under contract — for example, Stripe (payment processing) and our telecommunications provider (to deliver SMS and voice). They may use your information only to perform services for us.

For legal and safety reasons — to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect the safety of our users.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Data retention & security

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations, after which we delete or de-identify it. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information.

6. Your choices

SMS — reply STOP to stop texts, or HELP for help.

Email — use the unsubscribe link in marketing emails; transactional service messages continue while you have an active booking.

Access & deletion — email zousupport@zounya.com to access, correct, or delete your personal information.

7. Children

The Platform is intended for users 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
