Payment and Payout Policy

This policy is incorporated by reference into the Braider Independent Contractor Agreement (§23) and describes how Service Prices, fees, and payouts work on the Zounya platform.

1. What the Client pays

• Service Price — the price for the braiding services, set per model/tier.

• Service fee — a $15.00 USD platform fee per Booking, paid by the Client.

• Taxes — applied as required by law.

• Tip — optional; 100% goes to the Braider.

2. Your share

• For each completed Booking you receive 70% of the Service Price; Zounya retains 30% as commission. The 30% is computed on the Service Price only (excluding tips, taxes, service fee, processing fees, discounts, coupons, cancellation fees, and refunds).

• Tips are passed through to you in full.

3. Tax information (W-9) — required before payout

• You must provide a complete, accurate IRS Form W-9 (legal name, tax classification, address, TIN) before any payout. Payouts are held until your tax information is on file.

• Zounya may issue Form 1099-NEC / 1099-K as required by law and may apply backup withholding where legally required.

• We store only the last 4 digits of your TIN; the full number is used solely for tax reporting.

4. Payout timing and conditions

• Payouts are made on Zounya's standard schedule, contingent on successful settlement of the Client's payment and completion of fraud, safety, refund, chargeback, and dispute review.

• Zounya may withhold, offset, delay, or recover amounts (including from future payouts) for cancellations, refunds, chargebacks, disputes, suspected fraud, Client complaints, safety incidents, or policy investigations (a payout hold).

• You are responsible for any negative balance resulting from a refund, chargeback, or reversal.

5. No cash / off-platform payment

You may not request or accept cash or off-platform payment for Services booked through Zounya.
